Peggy Chappell

Peggy Chappell is a licensed clinical social worker, educator, coach, and consultant. She holds an A.B. degree from Smith College where she trained as a teacher, a M.S.W. from UNC-Chapel Hill, and a Post Masters Clinical Fellowship from the Yale Child Study Center. (In addition she has completed “Positive Psychology Coaching” through the Whole Being Institute and has served as a Teaching Assistant for “Crafting the resilient Life” course of study through Kripalu. )Peggy has over 30 years of professional experience working with children, families, and school communities as a child and family therapist at Yale New Haven Hospital and Yale Child Study Center, as a teacher at Potomac School in McLean, VA, and as an administrator at The Country School in Madison, CT.
 
In her current work, she brings together her professional expertise, her training in the fields of Positive Psychology and resilience and her deep respect for the desire of individuals and organizations to continually grow. While her approach is grounded in the science and research from psychology and the field of well-being, it is executed from the heart of her experience and shared humanity.
