With the winter's arrival and a new year looming ahead, we often take this time to reflect on the precious moments of the year past and to look forward to the new opportunities and possibilities of the year to come.  This year marked a decade for AISAP--a momentus year--and so we share our memories with you.  In no particular order, here are a few highlights from 2015 as they relate to the Association of Independent School Admission Professionals:

The AISAP Exchange--Many hundreds of you exchanged work-related questions and solutions on topics from Parent Ambassadors to Dashboards for your Board reports, and Word Of Mouth Programs to Tuition Remission.  Thank you for participating! Want to join in the discussion?  Enter the AISAP Exchange here!

The Scale--AISAP's newest research effort is also among the most valuable in helping member schools measure their admission and marketing performance, both against their own historical data and against colleagues of similar size in a similar region. Those who participated will receive a copy of the report at no charge, but if you'd like a copy, let us know here!

10th Anniversary celebration at the AISAP Annual Institute--For ten years, AISAP has been the association FOR independent school admission professionals BY independent school admission professionals.  We have always had one mission: "To support and advance those involved in admission and enrollment management in their responsibilities for advancing institutional mission and financial sustainability."  During this first decade many sweet memories were made, and we'll share them with you if you watch our Timeline Movie

AISAP52--In previous years, AISAP had offered numerous blogs from which our members could pick, but this year, we decided to consolidate to one informative, authoritative, specialized, expert blog that addresses a variety of admission, enrollment management, financial aid, and marketing topics.  And it's called "AISAP52" because our intent is to deliver meaningful content 52 weeks a year!  Catch up on the AISAP52 blog here.

AISAP Goes International--In our first decade, AISAP retained a national focus, working primarily with independent schools within the USA.  This year, AISAP spread its wings and went global!  Our executive director visited China, reached a partnership arrangement with our sister association in Australia, and opened negotiations with independent schools across Europe.  Our membership now includes countries like the Bahamas, Canada, China, England, India, Japan, Luxembourg, Qatar and we are speaking to schools in Belgium, Columbia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Iceland, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Panama, Poland, Switzerland, Thailand, and Turkey!  AISAP is a citizen of the world!

CAEP Certification--AISAP continues to leverage 21st century technology to deliver world-class professional development to independent school admission and enrollment management professionals. In 2015, in partnership with Vanderbilt Peabody college, AISAP announced and launched the very first of its kind program designed to support the advancement of the profession. The CAEP designation demonstrates understanding of the role admission and enrollment management plays in independent school sustainability. Want to learn more about becoming CAEP Certified?  Read our overview and apply here.

Thank you for a great 2015. We couldn't have done it without you!  In 2016 we have more innovations and transformative breakthroughs to share with you and your school. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
