Presenter: Jaclyn Day, Director of Marketing and Communications, RenWeb School Management Software.

 

Bio: Jaclyn Day is the Director of Marketing and Communications for RenWeb School Management Software. She oversees all internal and external marketing efforts, including sales strategy, inbound marketing efforts, and editorial and visual strategy. Prior to joining RenWeb in 2009, she worked in Washington, DC, focusing on public relations that specialized in public affairs, digital strategy and corporate messaging. Jaclyn is passionate about social media and inbound marketing and how they relate to corporate communication in the digital age. After Jaclyn joined RenWeb, she developed a successful social media strategy from scratch and revamped internal and external marketing communications.

Jaclyn received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Washington Adventist University. She still lives and works in the Washington, DC area



 

Boosting Enrollment Through Inbound Marketing

Inbound marketing is vitally important for influencing a school’s enrollment, retention, and constituent engagement. But where do you start? What does a school need to create a dynamic school presence through inbound marketing?

Consistent branding, compelling content, leveraging social media outlets, better inquiry management and lead conversations are all ways you can build a healthy admissions funnel that promotes retention later on.

Objectives:

1) Provide schools a broad outline of inbound marketing and how it applies to school marketing, enrollment retention. This workshop will provide concrete examples of inbound marketing in action and show how schools can replicate the results in their own institution.

2) Share best practices for inbound marketing tactics, including branding, blogging and social media content creation and management. The webinar covers school blogs, Facebook Pages, Twitter accounts, Instagram profiles and more.

3) Demonstrate the importance of leveraging online inquiries generated from inbound marketing tactics into a healthy admissions funnel that becomes self-supporting and retention-oriented once families have been accepted into school and transformed into school brand ambassadors.
