We know we should be using data and research to support enrollment planning, but it is hard to know exactly how to get the information we want and, most importantly, how to use it for effective planning. In this session, we will do a deep dive into understanding demographic trend projections and psychographic segmentation analysis, and how to use these tools for reflection and planning. A case study will help illustrate the concepts.

Dana has twenty years of experience working within and between all levels of administration and faculty, parents, students, board members, and other community stakeholders regarding a range of topics including strategic enrollment management, strategic financial aid management, communication, marketing and positioning, and parent and student satisfaction.
She has recently delivered workshops and keynotes at the Bay Area Directors of Admission Symposium (2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017), the National Association of Girls Schools conference (2017) the Houston Area Independent Schools conference (2016), and the Southern Marin Mother's Club, and has spoken twice at the Annual Meeting of teh Enrollment Management Association (2007, 2016). She is also the featured expert on enrollment within the Beeline Community of Montessori schools.
Dana currently serves as the coordinator of the Bay Area Directors of Admission consortium, a professional association consisting of approximately 75 schools. Among a variety of tasks to keep the group up and running, she is responsible for professional development planning and organizational leadership. She lives in beautiful Northern California with her husband, Sky, and their elementary school aged daughter, Eliana.
