Transitions

In just a few short weeks, our schools will have graduated or promoted their students. Celebrations and well wishes will transition into end-of-the-year faculty meetings and some will be packing boxes as faculty, staff, and administration move from one school to the next, or from one chapter of their lives to another.

From the Classroom to the Boardroom

If you know Jeff Escabar, you know that one of his many great qualities is his sense of humor. He will tell you that it’s been an important factor in the longevity of his professional career in independent schools. Over the years, his sense of humor, experience and desire to learn has served him well with students, families and colleagues. Escabar now serves students as the Head of School for Marin Preparatory School in San Francisco.

Collaboration: It's Not Just Another Buzz Word

The days of working in a silo are over. Unless you're on the extreme periphery of your school's interactions, chances are you collaborate with your colleagues each and every day. Yet, how much do you collaborate outside of your school? At AISAP, we collaborate with our members as well as the industry at large. We're all about working with others to see how we can improve our offerings and become a better organization for you. In this challenging independent school market, it may be time to collaborate with other schools in your area. Education Consultant Ian Symmonds makes a case for market collaboration and how it can make a difference in your market.
