Maryanna begins her work as the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management at The Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas in July 2015. Hockaday is an independent girls school with an enrollment of roughly 1100 students Pre-K through 12, day and boarding. Prior to her work at Hockaday, Maryanna served as the Associate Director of Admission and Financial Aid at The Harpeth Hall School, a 5-12 grade independent, all-girls school in Nashville, Tennessee. Her career in admissions began at her alma mater, Washington and Lee University. After three years in undergraduate college admissions, she took a bit of a hiatus and followed a dream to work in the music business in Nashville. Several years and a few honky-tonks later, Maryanna returned to her roots in education at Harpeth Hall. Beyond admissions and financial aid, she enjoys her work with various school committees and especially working with Parent and Student Ambassadors and spending time with her advisees. Away from the office, Maryanna loves to travel, hike, bike, garden, cook and love on her nieces and nephews.
