Webinar | Engaging in Challenging Conversations: A Tool Kit for Conflict Management

When:  Dec 11, 2019 from 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM (ET)
Our highly relational work in admission means that we are in dialogue with families constantly. We are the ones who deliver thrilling news that may change a child's trajectory in life. Conversely, we also hold the responsibility for sharing potentially devastating news when there is a negative outcome of the admission process. In an already emotionally charged setting, these conversations can sometimes feel like a minefield. How can we better manage conflict and difficult conversations?

This webinar breaks down the approach to a challenging conversation and offers a step-by step guide and straightforward advice for delivering difficult news with honesty and compassion.

Presenter: Sara Stephenson, Director of Strategic Enrollment Management, Ashley Hall School, Charleston, South Carolina
