Regardless of the financial aid platform your school uses, we’ll train you to review, assess and award applicants in a practical and tactical way. How? By using proven protocols, checklists and awarding strategies to align with your unique enrollment goals. Each week we’ll tackle a different aspect of running a financial aid program, beginning with a live classroom presentation of materials and ending the week with a live one-hour class to review the content and answer your specific questions.
You’ll learn to:
- Forecast your financial aid budget for the season ahead
- Consistently review and assess folders using Mission Enrollment checklists and techniques
- Accurately assess applications from business owners
- Equitably manage an aid program for faculty and staff
- Successfully manage appeals
- Create and deliver dynamic year-end reports for your HOS and Board
The beginning of the academic year is the perfect time for this step-by-step program. Each class connects to the next and you’ll have weekly opportunities for individual instruction through live office hours with a financial aid expert. Plus, you’ll earn seven CECs when you complete the course. Class Schedule
Class 1: October 1st at 3:00 p.m. ET*
Class 2: October 8th at 3:00 p.m. ET
Class 3: October 15th at 3:00 p.m. ET
Class 4: October 22nd at 3:00 p.m. ET
Class 5: October 29th at 3:00 p.m. ET
Class 6: November 5th at 3:00 p.m. ET
Class 7: November 12th at 3:00 p.m. ET
*Initial Oct.1 live class will be repeated on Oct. 2, 3:00 p.m. ET as a live class for those who can't attend on Oct. 1 due to Rosh Hashanah.
If you have a scheduling conflict and can't make one of the live classes, register for the course and AISAP makes the recordings of the classes available afterward
