This series will provide you with a series of Excel lessons and practicum over the course of the year that will bring you up to the level of creating your own automatable dashboard by the end of the year from your own datasets. The series will start with sessions aimed at downloading data from the various software packages available to schools, move into "cleaning" and preparing the data to be used in the dashboard, to functions and commands that allow for basic analysis, and finally into advanced charting techniques.
You’ll learn:
- How to pull and clean your data for use in a dashboard
- How to use basic and advanced commands to set up tables of data that are automatically updated each time you add new information
- How to design charts and graphs for your team, your leadership, and your Board that are clear and concise representations of the story you want to tell
- How to use analytical tools to make strategic decisions about your pipeline and pivot mid-year when you need to
- Most of all, how to feel confident with your spreadsheet skills so that you can tweak your dashboard as you go!
