As admission professionals, we are charged with creating a student body that meets our school mission and encompasses diversity. In this session, we will discuss diversity in terms of socioeconomics and how we can best support our students coming from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. Also, we will discuss ways that schools have found success in creating programming.

Christina’s career in Independent Schools has spanned 17 years, spent entirely in single-sex schools, where she has become an expert in the all-boys environment. Before joining University School in the fall of 2013, she spent 13 years in the boarding school world where she was Director of Admission and Financial, and Director of Residential Life. Christina has presented nationally on various topics which include Admissions & Financial Aid Best Practices, Developing a Dynamic Discipline System, Social Media, Best Practices for International Enrollment, and Developing a Comprehensive Residential Boarding Program. She was also executive coordinator of the 2012 National Small Boarding Schools Association Annual Conference. Christina is currently the Director of Admission (9-12) & Financial Aid (K-12) at University School in Cleveland, Ohio.
