Membership

There are four distinct categories for membership to AISAP:

  1. School Membership
  2. Corporate Partner Membership
  3. Associations or Organizations
  4. Individuals (not presently employed at a school, corporation, association or organization) who are Retired or interested as a student in learning more about the profession.

AISAP membership is institution-based. Meaning that our primary membership base is by schools and then those who are employed by the schools. In accordance with AISAP Bylaws – Article III.

AISAP’s Digital Resource Library contains sample letters, templates, whitepapers and an opportunity for you to contribute to the ongoing and ever growing sample list.

 

PATHWAYS  – a dynamic performance benchmarking tool that follows you throughout your professional career. No matter what school affiliation, level or professional journey you follow, PATHWAYS allows you to, year over year benchmark yourself with others in the profession. Career Center
– a job board specifically for jobs in the admission, marketing, and communications field.    There is no other online service in the admission and enrollment management industry that is JUST focused on our profession and that will provide the level of functionality contained in the new AISAP Career Center.  Posting discounts for members and member schools. Newly enhanced~ see  announcement: CAREER CENTER


The Funnel

Blogs – AISAP has six blogs: AISAP52, Diffley Diary, Marketing to Full Pay, SchneiderB, Marketing That Works, and our newest addition Rick Newberry's Blog (coming soon). PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

AISAP University – AISAP University offers online courses and in-person programs designed for emerging, developing, maturing, and master level admission professionals.  Search through our courses by experience track, by Standard & Competency, by Admission Season, or by method of delivery.  All of our courses are delivered in accordance with our learning principles, by our skilled faculty and leading experts. AISAP members also have access to our webinar archives of past webinars, PDFs and presentations.


Annual Admission Institute – Professional development opportunity for independent school admission and enrollment management professionals as well as those who contribute to the efforts of enrollment management. This learning experience is more than simply a gathering of professionals. Our programming and content is based on our Standards & Competencies in Admission & Enrollment Management. The Annual Institute includes presentations by peers and industry experts, cohort groups to facilitate small group discussion, virtual cohort group meetings throughout the academic year to help further the education and Institute experience. Member Discount and Registration Preference.

Whether you are a school looking to hire an intern for the summer or a student looking at admissions as a career, AISAP is here to assist.  Membership Categories

1. School Membership

DESCRIPTION

School membership is open to:

  1. Non-profit Schools that are:
    • pre-collegiate located in the United States and U.S. Territories
    • and outside of the United States and U.S. Territories with admission professionals who would benefit from AISAP’s programs and services.
    • Nonprofit schools must be accredited.
    • Eligible institutions must have been in operation for at least five years.
    • Eligible institutions must accept and support the Ethical Behavior & Best Practices for Admission Professionals.
  2. For-profit Schools
    • School membership is open to pre-collegiate, proprietary (for-profit) institutions
      • pre-collegiate located in the United States and U.S. Territories
      • and outside of the United States and U.S. Territories
    • Institutions must be accredited or licensed by recognized bodies.
    • Eligible institutions must have been in operation for at least five years
    • Eligible institutions must accept and support the Ethical Behavior & Best Practices for Admission Professionals.
  3. Provisional Membership
    • Provisional membership is open to non-profit or for-profit pre-collegiate institutions in the process of acquiring accreditation or licensing to operate in the United States, its territories or outside of the United States. Eligible institutions must have been in operation for at least five years.

ANNUAL FEE

School Membership (based on Total School Enrollment at the time of membership)
Enrollment Less than 150 students $299.00 U.S.
Enrollment between 150 – 399 students $499.00 U.S.
Enrollment between 400 – 749 students $599.00 U.S.
Enrollment equal to or more than 750 students $750.00 U.S.

 

2. Association and Organizations

DESCRIPTION

This category includes associations, foundations, coordinating bodies and agencies:

  • These entities must be entitled to tax exemptions under Section 501 (c)(3), defined as not-for-profit organizations whose primary activities consists of providing admission or financial aid services to independent schools, students or to the independent school admission counseling or financial aid professions.
  • Organizations are defined as those that provide products and/or services to the independent school community admission or financial aid professions or in support of students’ transition.

 ANNUAL FEE

$300.00 per year


3. Corporate Partners

DESCRIPTION

For-profit or not-for-profit businesses, companies, vendors or organizations with programs, products or services related to the work of member institutions and actively engaged in supporting the work of the Association.

ANNUAL FEE

$1,000 per year

4. Individuals

DESCRIPTION

This category is not open to anyone employed by an institution. This membership category represents individuals with experience in enrollment management.

  1. This category recognizes:Retired professionals who were actively engaged in enrollment management activities.
  2. Individuals seeking careers in enrollment management services.
