Debbie has been working in Independent Schools for 29 years. Her years of service began in the classroom as a faculty member at Trinity School, in Atlanta, GA. After 10 years in the classroom, she moved to the Admission office as Director of Admission at Trinity. After 6 years as Director of Admission at Trinity she accepted the position of Direct of Admission and Financial Aid at Lovett School in Atlanta, where she has just completed 13 years.

Her professional activities have included the Secondary School testing Board-Admission Leadership Counsel; President of the Admission Director Group of the Atlanta Association of Independent Schools; and Chairmen of the Atlanta Joint Admission Testing program.

She has been a presenter at the SSATB-South Florida Admission Directors' Annual Meeting and the SSATB Annual Conference. She is a contributing author for Atlanta's Intown magazine; the Atlanta Journal Constitution; AISAP online articles and the Lovett School Alumni magazine. She received the Distinguished Service Award from the Georgia Independent School Association. She holds a B.A. deree from Oglethorpe University, where she currently serves no the National Alumni Board. Debbie and her husband Rocky have two sons and five grandchildren.
