Jeff Escabar is Head of School at the Marin Preparatory School in San Francisco, CA. Jeff is an accomplished educator who has spent his 37 year career in the Bay Area, beginning as a teacher at Marin Country Day School in 1977. Most recently, Jeff was Director of Admission at Marin Country Day School, a position he held for 22 years. He earned his B.A. in Political Science and teaching credential from the University of San Francisco and his M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Concordia University.
He is active with the Bay Area Directors of Admission and serves as President on the National Board of The Association of Independent School Admission Professionals (A.I.S.A.P.). He has frequently taught both new and experienced Admission Professionals at the A.I.S.A.P. Summer Institute on a range of issues including enrollment management, Ethics and the Admission professional, conducting parent interviews and early childhood assessment. He has written and spoken on a variety of enrollment management topics.
