Certificate (CAEP)

CAEP© is the Admission and Enrollment Management profession’s first and only certificate program. It's an online course with seasonal weekly cohort group meetings.

The Program

This certificate and the Admission and Enrollment Management Professional program are based on AISAP’s Learning and Development Framework and Professional Competencies and Behaviors. They support individuals responsible for admission and enrollment management with content that will increase their knowledge of their roles within their schools and the industry. This will help them meet the challenges of the admission landscape and understand their leadership role in advancing their schools.

Earning the CAEP© distinction is the coveted hallmark for any committed admission and enrollment management professional and those who support the profession's advancement. AISAP’s program catalyzes your interest and demonstrates your desire to become a certified professional in independent school admission and enrollment management using the knowledge learned via CAEP© to promote institutional health and well-being.

This asynchronous, online curriculum has been designed with the tools, equipment, and subject-matter expertise to aid you through the process. In addition to the self-paced lessons, the course includes seasonal weekly cohort meetings that provide structured opportunities for discussion, guidance, and peer support. Four cohort meetings are required for successful completion of the course, though attending all weekly sessions is strongly encouraged. It is recommended that you prepare to reserve dedicated time per lesson so you can follow along in the included study guides.

CAEP© is completed online through our state-of-the-art learning management system. Each lesson has a study guide, and after all lessons, an online assessment must be passed. When all lessons, required cohort meetings, and the final assessment are completed, you will successfully demonstrate mastery, earning your CAEP© certificate.

AISAP firmly believes in the art and science of this profession. Through CAEP© we desire not only to educate our members and those who support admission and enrollment management, we seek to elevate the individual who holds this distinguished certificate so that all independent and private school leaders will recognize and value their knowledge and value.

How to Get Started

Beginning the process to earn your CAEP© certificate is a two-part process.

  1. Find a seasonal cohort group that best fits your schedule and complete full payment for the online course.
  2. No later than one week before the start of the course, you will receive login credentials to access the courses, and Zoom links to join the cohort meetings. Each week we will cover one of the topic areas and share effective practices - all enhancing the knowledge that is shared through this primer course.

Seasonal Cohort Groups (no additional fee)

Each season AISAP will facilitate a six-week 60 minute cohort gathering where content contained within the Certificate Course will be covered and expanded upon as we will have practitioners and industry experts in the areas of weekly focus joining us for extended collaboration, problem solving and facilitation.

This course will combine online content review, group discussions and hands-on activities. You can apply concepts learned in real-world scenarios and receive feedback from instructors and fellow participants.

Cohort meetings will review each content area through conversation and examples led by experienced practitioners over six weeks, with sessions held once a week for 60 minutes each. You will also have access to online resources and materials for self-paced learning beyond the completion of the course.
