Beth Whitney

Beth Whitney has enjoyed working in education for over 20 years as a admission professional, teacher, adviser, coach and administrator. She joined Fay School in 2010 as the Director of Admission and says “I have the best job in the world - every day I get to talk with students and parents about their aspirations and dreams as they think about the next steps in their education.” Her previous admissions experience has included Middlebury College, Yale University, and Choate Rosemary Hall.

Beth earned her BA from Middlebury College and her MA from Stanford University. She was a contributing editor for the National Association for Independent School’s handbook International Students in Independent Schools: A Guide for Educators (2nd ed.). She has presented at conferences of The Enrollment Management Association; NAFSA: Association of International Educators; The Independent Educational Consultants Association; The Association of Boarding Schools; the Council for Advancement and Support of Education; and AISAP. She is CAEP certified by AISAP.
