Role Definitions

  

Primary Admission Director: You are the person responsible for your school's enrollment. You have managerial responsibilities for strategic enrollment management & institutional financial sustainability. Possible title examples: "Director of Admission," "Dean of Enrollment," "Director of Enrollment," "Director of Admissions and Financial Aid," or "Chief Admission Officer"

Admission Co-Director: You are not the primary Admission director at your school.  You are a director who equally shares your school's overall enrollment responsibilities with more than one other person or may be responsible for a particular division/segment. Possible title examples: "Co-Director of Admission (there are two equal Directors)," "Director of Enrollment-Lower School (There is or is not a primary Director and another equal "Director of Enrollment-Upper School"),  or "Director of US Admission and Marketing".

Admission Associate Director: You are not the primary person responsible for your school's enrollment yet are an integral member of the school’s admission efforts and you do have managerial admission/enrollment responsibilities. Possible title examples: "Associate Director of Admission," "Associate Head of Enrollment Management," or "Associate Director of Upper School Admission."

Admission Assistant Director: You are not the primary person responsible for your school's enrollment, yet you do assist the person who is the primary and/or share managerial admission/enrollment responsibilities. Possible title examples: "Assistant Director of Admissions," "Assistant Director of High School Admissions," or "Director of Marketing and Assistant Director of Admission."

Admission Associate: You are not the person responsible for your school's enrollment, yet are an integral member of the school’s admission efforts and the admission team. Possible title examples: "Admission Associate," "Admission Officer," "Admission Associate and Coordinator," "Admission and Financial Aid Associate,"Enrollment Specialist," or "Admissions Counselor."

Admission Assistant: You are not responsible for your school's enrollment, yet are an integral member of the school’s admission team and offer support to the enrollment effort. Possible title examples: "Admissions Assistant," "Assistant to Director of Admission," "Administrative Support for Admission," or "Assistant to Admissions/Communications."

Communications and Marketing: You are not part of your school's enrollment department, yet are an integral member of the school’s enrollment efforts by planning, developing and implementing all of your school's marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Possible title examples: "Director of Marketing/Communications," "Associate Director of Marketing and Financial Aid," "Assistant Director of Marketing," or "Communications Associate."

Financial Aid: You are not part of your school's enrollment department. yet are an integral member of the school’s enrollment efforts by administering all student financial aid, student employment & scholarships, creating budget projections, and preparing reports pertaining to aid/scholarships. Possible title examples: "Director of Financial Aid," "Associate Director of Financial Aid and Advancement" "Assistant Director of Financial Aide," or "Financial Aid Associate."
