Alan Clarence

Alan Clarance is a successful finance professional over the last 30 years. He joined Farm & Wilderness Foundation in January 2020 as the Chief Financial Officer and as of July 2020 he has leadership responsibility for Admissions.  He is originally from England, is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Essex, in England. He started his professional career in the corporate world, with 19 years of experience including auditing, banking, manufacturing, and IT.  He started his second career in in the not-for profit sector and has now accumulated 12 amazing years of experience, including Year-Up, 8 years at Fay School, the GreenLight Fund, before joining Farm and Wilderness Foundation.  Alan lives in Framingham, MA with 4 of his 5 children. His passion is road biking. In 2020, he will ride in his 18th Pan Mass Challenge, having led teams that have raised over $4 million for cancer research and treatment at the Dan-Farber Cancer Institute.
