Allison Letourneau

Allison Letourneau Allison has spent her career in admission offices at boarding schools. She currently serves as the Director of Admission at her alma mater, Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA), where she lives on campus with her wife and young daughter. In addition to her role leading the School’s admission efforts and a team of twelve admission professionals, Allison co-leads Berkshire’s recent update to their Strategic Plan, serves as a member of the Hiring Team, and finds immeasurable joy in her role as an advisor and assistant track and field coach. Prior to returning to Berkshire, Allison served as the Director of Enrollment Management at Kimball Union Academy (Meriden, NH).

Actively involved in the admission and enrollment profession, Allison is a frequent writer and presenter at several conferences, including the AISAP Annual Institute. Prior to joining the AISAP Board of Directors, Allison was a board member for the Small Boarding School Association and co-led the Advisory Board at Berkshire School. 

A native of Nova Scotia, Canada, Allison is currently enrolled in the Klingenstein Program at Columbia University in pursuit of her M.Ed. in independent school leadership. Prior to that, she earned a M.A. and B.A. from the University of New Hampshire where she was a five-year member of the women’s track and field / cross-country team, a career that culminated in school records, conference and New England titles, and ultimately earning a spot at the Canadian Track and Field Olympic Trials.
