We’ll take a pragmatic look at what data strategy looks like in the enrollment management field and outline a set of principles that will spark curiosity and contribute to a culture of data-informed inquiry campus wide.

We will discuss the idea of starting with the end in mind and determining the ‘why’ of the information needed. We will identify the top data needs at every institution in order to drive strategy, goal setting, and enrollment management. We will also spend some time determining how to acquire the data needed that may not be readily available to you. This session will include a look at national demographics and market changes that every admission professional needs to be aware of.

We will explore the ways, both obvious and not as obvious, that data displays a trend or an opportunity for your institution. We will also identify the ways in which data can uncover challenges and impending changes for your institution.

We will take our understanding of data and learn how to put it into practice and discuss how to give meaning to the data in order to provide a structure for communicating strategy to your team and the school administration.
