Webinar: Why Signature Recruitment Events Matter

When:  Nov 10, 2023 from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM (ET)

In admissions, events are a critical part of the recruitment funnel. Families and prospective students want to see a school, walk its campus, engage with its students, faculty and other key community members. Post-Covid, too many independent schools stopped hosting events such as Open Houses and program-focused activities. We will highlight why signature events are still best-practice and what they can/should look like. Even though it’s November, it’s not too late to plan and host families to your campus to showcase your school. Additionally, as schools think toward their conversion periods during the decision and deposit weeks, a conversion event is equally as important. Lastly, once your deposits are in for the 2024-2025 school year, spring events are a strategic way to begin to focus on the 2025-2026 recruitment season and grab your prospects early!

What to expect:

  • What defines signature events
  • Why programmatic events are essential
  • Open House checklist (it can be a PDF to share with the post-presentation)
  • Programmatic event checklist
  • Conversion events – ideas and best practices for getting those deposits
  • Spring event (smaller but effective recruitment tool to begin filing the next recruitment funnel)

All registrants will be emailed access to presentation recordings and resources within 1 business day after the live webinar.
