Yvette Bonaparte
Yvette is the Director of Admission at San Francisco Friends School, a K-8 Quaker school in San Francisco. She joined the school as a member of the founding staff in 2002 and became the Director of Admission in 2005. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Purchase and a Masters in Writing from the University of San Francisco. She has represented her school at many NAIS People of Color Conferences, as well as the NAIS Diversity Leadership Institute. She has served on the board of the Bay Area People of Color in Independent Schools (BA-POCIS) organization and at the Friends School, as the Co-Clerk of the Equity and Inclusion Steering Committee. She is a California Association of Independent School (CAIS) Accreditation Team Member and also currently serves on the board of the Bay Area Directors of Admission.
